PYRAN® Platinum is a Fire-Rated Glass-Ceramic designed and UL-certified to protect building occupants from the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases for a set amount of time, enhancing safety while maintaining code compliance. Distinguished by its smooth, virtually colorless appearance, PYRAN® Platinum is also available in film and laminated versions for safety glazing applications.

PYRAN® Platinum L is laminated to meet the safety glazing requirements for hazardous locations and supports fire protection for up to 90 minutes in windows and up to 3 hours in doors.

Contains the same thickness as PYRAN® Platinum, but with a surface-applied safety film that provides impact resistance in addition to heat resistance. The PYRAN® Platinum F produces fire protection for up to 90 minutes in windows and up to 3 hours in doors.
